Ep. 164: Land of Lincoln | Illinois travel RV camping

In this week's episode of Grand Adventure we travel to central Illinois, the Land of Lincoln. While camping right at Lincoln's New Salem State Historic Site we explore not only the historical recreation of New Salem where Abraham Lincoln spent life in his 20s, but also numerous historical sites around the Springfield area dedicated to our nation's 16th President, including the Lincoln Home National Historic Site, Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum, the historic Springfield Depot where he left for his Presidential Inauguration and delivered his bittersweet Farewell Address to Springfield, and Lincoln's Tomb, where this great President is buried along with Mary Todd Lincoln and three of the couple's four sons.
