Chor Machaaye Shor, released in 2002, is a Bollywood action-comedy film directed by David Dhawan. The film stars Bobby Deol, Shilpa Shetty, and Bipasha Basu in lead roles. Interestingly, this movie is a remake of the 1979 Bollywood film GolMaal.

The story revolves around Shyam (Bobby Deol), a small-time thief who works as a security guard at a museum. One day, he and his three friends—Johnny (Rajpal Yadav), Titu (Ashish Vidyarthi), and Tony (Rajat Bedi)—plan to steal a valuable diamond. They successfully execute the heist, but Shyam decides not to share the loot with Titu and Tony. He escapes with Johnny and the diamond, but while Johnny gets away, Shyam is caught. Before the police can apprehend him, Shyam hides the diamond in a secret location. He is sentenced to two years in prison.

After serving his sentence, Shyam returns to retrieve the diamond, only to find that a new police station has been built over the spot where he hid it. Will Shyam be able to recover his diamond?

चोर मचाये शोर साल 2002 में रिलीज़ हुई एक बॉलीवुड एक्शन कॉमेडी फिल्म है, जिसे डेविड धवन ने डायरेक्ट किया है। इसमें बॉबी देओल, शिल्पा शेट्टी और बिपाशा बासु, लीड रोल में है। इस फिल्म की खास बात यह है कि साल 1979 में आयी बॉलीवुड फिल्म गोल माल की ये रीमेक है।

कहानी श्याम (बॉबी देओल) एक छोटा सा चोर है, जो एक म्यूजियम में सुरक्षाकर्मी की नौकरी करता है। वो एक दिन अपने तीन दोस्तों, जॉनी (राजपाल यादव), टीटू (आशीष विद्यार्थी) और टोनी (रजत बेदी) के साथ हीरा चोरी करने का प्लान बनाता है। चारों हीरा चोरी करने में सफल हो जाते हैं, लेकिन श्याम के मन में टीटू और टोनी को हिस्सा न देने का ख्याल आता है और वो जॉनी के साथ हीरा लेकर भाग निकलता है। जॉनी तो भाग निकलता है लेकिन इस दौरान श्याम पकड़ा जाता है। पुलिस के हत्थे चढ़ने से पहले ही श्याम हीरा कहीं छुपा देता है। श्याम को दो साल की सजा सुनाई जाती है।

दो साल का सजा काट निकला श्याम जब उसी जगह अपना हीरा ढूंढने निकलता है, तो यह देखकर हैरान हो जातै है कि जिस गह हीरा छुपाया था अब वहां नई पुलिस स्टेशन खुला है...देखना यह है कि अब क्या श्याम अपने हीरे मिलेंगे....
