This is not your average playthrough; every decision counts, and with permadeath rules, I’ll have to be extra strategic to avoid losing beloved Pokemon. Standard Nuzlocke Rules:
1. You can only catch your first encounter in every area.
2. You must nickname every Pokémon.
3. Once a Pokemon faints it is considered dead and cannot be used anymore.

Hardcore Nuzlocke Rules:
1. You cannot use items in battle. Held items are allowed.
2. You must change the Battle-Style to "Set".
3. You cannot level past the next Gym Leaders strongest Pokemon.
4. Once you white out, the run is over.

Special Clauses:
1. Dupes Clause – You don’t have to catch first encounters that are the same Pokemon as one you have already caught.
2. Species Clause – You don’t have to catch first encounters that are in the same evolutionary line as a Pokemon you have already caught
3. Shiny Clause – You may catch and use a shiny Pokemon even if it is not your first encounter on a route.
