January 13, 2013 marked the 20th Anniversary of the Walt Disney World Marathon at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. After completing both the WDW Half Marathon and Disneyland Half Marathon in 2012, I figured the next, natural step would be to attempt the full marathon. And given that this was the 20th anniversary and completing it came with a super awesome medal, I went for it! My friend Franze, of course, came along too, and we somehow managed to move ourselves 26.2 miles throughout the resort.
We'll show you our trek through the four parks, ESPN Wide World of Sports, and more as well as all the entertainment along the way!
