The Keystone Kops Dark Ride made its debut on Hunt's Pier on the Wildwood Boardwalk in 1964 and was the creation of local ride designer Jamie Sanford. The attraction was removed from the pier in 1994/1995 to make way for Dinosaur Beach and the stunts and figures were put into storage below the boardwalk. Several years later I was told that most of what was stored was going to be trashed, so after several phone calls I was fortunate to have been given permission to rescue what I could.
