This documentary looks at the role that digital technology plays in our lives, through the work of three artists: Ines Alpha, ORLAN and Qualeasha Wood. Each reflects on how virtual tools enable us to edit, remix and challenge received notions of beauty through their experiments with the body and technology. Responding to Somerset House’s Virtual Beauty exhibition, the film looks at questions of power, objectivity, and the tensions between the digital realm and the physical world that holds it.
