Thank you Gamescage so much for hosting another AMV contest There are so many fire entries like it was so crazy and it was very crazy to me to make it this far
so about the video I wanted to make an AMV with this song song after hearing it. It was originally gonna be a Sonic and Shadow AMV but one day I was experimenting with masking layers while working on an mep part and got curious and I'm surprised how that worked out especially when that was all on vegas pro. So I decided to make a dark sonic and Shadow AMV. planning the story was challenging I had to do a few changes to it. when the announcement came out I ran to my pc and started working on it. A lot was going on making it between the crashes and almost losing the file completely, and my pc crashed once and not to mention the masking was a painful process I did have to take a few breaks and stretch cause it was so much after effects masking really saved me and the amount of masks put into this I counted it was nearly about 90 masks which is too crazy to me. I honestly can't believe I made this in under 4 weeks plus 2 days but it was really worth it.

The song I used was Hurricane by Dead by April ft. The day we left earth
Programs I used are Vegas Pro 16 and Adobe After Effects 2024
