Vintage 1967 TALKING Nape Curl Barbies Full Restoration!

This video is for ADULT vintage toy collectors and enthusiasts.
WARNING: Some parts of the talking Barbie's repair are Dangerous
and may result in bodily injury to yourself or permanent damage to
the doll. This video includes dolls with no clothes on in the repair.
Parental supervision is recommended for watching. Only adults should attempt this repair. I use and recommend
SAFETY GEAR during the opening and the closing of the dolls.
In this video we will see the really awesome inside mechanism
of the vintage Mattel talking Barbies made in 1967 and repair them
to talk. The Mattel engineers really did a great job in fitting
possibly the smallest record player into her tiny body. For anyone wondering why
I used a plastic bag instead of putting her directly into hot water it is because
it is important to Not get any water into the inside mechanism or it could cause rust and/or mold. Doing it this way makes it a little more difficult to get the arms off But it will save the internal mechanism in the long run (in my opinion).

I Am a GenXer :-) and I started restoring GenX toys in 2013.
I have wanted to have a toy museum for a long time and this
channel is my gift of a toy museum. The music I chose I feel like
exemplifies some of the feelings I had while doing the repair- many times
of holding my breath, praying I didn't break something, lol! Or excitement
as I heard her talk. :-) The vintage Barbie parts are
VERY FRAGILE and easily broken. If you try this at home, be extremely careful while
cutting open her neck area, it is VERY delicate. *Here is what the Barbies say: "Hi, I'm Barbie, What's your name?, Let's have a fashion show together, Would you like to be a model?, I like to dance, don't you?, Help me get ready for the dance, and Let's go visit P.J."
