The issue of bribery is simply dishonest gift or incentive aimed at inducement or motivation, or persuasion to obtain things unlawfully or illegally. Basically there is a thin line between a gift and a bribe.
A bribe is when you know the truth but, because of what you gain, you choose to lie.
It’s selling your conscience for money. Trading your dignity shamelessly by demanding or expecting payments in cash or in kind before you do the job that you are paid for to assist a vulnerable or desperate client or customer.
Or acceptance of cash or kind from a corrupt individual sometimes to give what he or she is not due to get under normal circumstances.
