ISH News was fortunate enough to have a Talk Show with Dr Khadijat ‘Kubby’ Rashid, Dean of Faculty at Gallaudet University on her second visit to India.
The talk show was conducted by Aqil Chinoy, Head of projects and IT at ISH News with the three objectives as below:
1. To make Deaf individuals introspect and boost their confidence.
2. To show hearing parents ways to encourage their Deaf children.
3. To make the Indian Government improve the system for the Deaf.
The talk show covers a brief introduction & discussion on the importance of Sign Language in the early childhood ages of the Deaf children and imparting the Education in Indian Sign Language.
