In a small man-made pond with gently flowing water, built in a backyard in central Portugal, birds are regularly seen visiting and interacting. Since September 2024, 35 different species have been recorded, all drawn to this peaceful feature, which was created specifically to attract them and bring them closer.
We originally built this stream to attract and photograph birds, but soon realized that our presence near the water scared them away. So we set up these live cameras — allowing us to watch them up close on our own screen without disturbing their natural behavior. Over time, sharing these quiet, beautiful moments with others became a big part of the joy — and a true motivation to keep the stream and cameras running. We also continue to produce high-quality, photo-like videos here and publish them on our channel, keeping this special connection with nature alive in different ways.
