Rangarajan R – Ex-IAS officer, ACA, Grad CWA
Rangarajan R, is from Chennai. He graduated from University of Madras in 1998 with 7th rank in the University. He is a Chartered Accountant and Cost Accountant by profession and started his career in PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Chennai. He worked in ICICI Bank post qualifying CA for four years before going on to become an IAS officer of 2005 batch (Assam Cadre). He worked in Assam for few years before returning to ICICI Bank where he worked in its Corporate Banking division for 6 years.
Since 2016, he is Associate Director at Officers IAS Academy, Chennai where he teaches Constitution and Anthropology for civil service aspirants.
His hobbies include reading and short-story writing. An avid long-distance runner, he has completed more than twenty half marathons.
