Pontypridd United of the Adran Premier beat their Pontypridd rivals Pontypridd AFC in the first round of the Bute Energy Welsh Cup. Pontypridd United were favourites heading into the game and they showed that with four first-half goals. Madison Lloyd and Luana D'Ambrosio netted doubles within the first showing the quality the Adran Premier side has.
In the second half it was a closer game as Megan Voyle struck a long range effort over Anna Phelps to score a memorable Welsh Cup goal for the 24-year old.
Saoirse Healey came off the bench and scored the fifth as Madison Lloyd who is on-loan from Cardiff City scored the sixth from a header.
The Bute Energy Welsh Cup Round Two draw will be broadcast on RedWall+ at 8pm on Thursday 27 November.
