Fay Hoh Yin was diagnosed with Lymphoma 6 years ago. A terminal diagnosis, she didn't want her own death to go down the same path as her mother. She expressed her desire to her children, Monona and Duncan, and thus began her crusade to lobby for the Death with Dignity Act.
In her last interview, Fay shares her views on her final days spending precious time with family and how the importance of expressing her views about her own death with her children created an even tighter relationship with them. Her hope is that more families will begin to have open discussions about end of life issues.
Fay Hoh Yin passed away peacefully on July 20, 2020.
