NO THRU ROAD? Gibraltar Rocks / Waterfall Creek Fire Trail

Exploring 4WD trails around Blue Mountain and Kanangra-Boyd National Park. The turn off from Gibraltar Rocks view point led us to Waterfall Creek Fire Trail. This trail has a sign says "NO THROUGH RD".
We should turn back... But didn't.
Turns out the damaged trail has been "repaired". Certain unrepairable spots had bypass created.
Some sections are too narrow for a Landcruiser but our big boy managed it through.
