Heroes of Might and Magic 3. Cove. AI Generated short film. Part 1 - Arrival

Oh boy. This took me much longer than I expected - but at last I’m happy to share Part One of my short AI film inspired by Heroes of Might & Magic III!

Wow, this was tough. I kept wrestling with whether to showcase every unit or make a tighter, story-driven cut that actually holds together. In the end I went with the second option, so this video is quite different from my previous ones. Not every unit is here (it’s mostly their upgraded forms), which let me focus on the narrative instead of adding shots just because “that’s how it was in the game.” Good call or bad call - that’s up for debate, so I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments ^_^ My take: the story is stronger and more cohesive this way.

Story setup: our hooded protagonist - face still hidden - arrives in the Cove with a "single Oceanid" to recruit an army and set out for distant lands, chasing clues learned from ancient obelisks. But those lands are inhabited, and it’s only a matter of time before the treasure is discovered.

Thank you all so much for your patience and for sticking with me. I know this took a long time. Honestly, I don’t know when the next part will be ready - work is eating most of my time right now. I even started Part Two already, but my editing software glitched and wiped all my progress. I promise I’ll try not to take this long again ^_^
