In this video, we will show you how to generate a Vaulted structure from a Voronoi. The process involves creating a Voronoi and converting it into a Mesh with subdivided quad faces. Successive kangaroo operations including Anchor, OnMesh, Load, Edge-length goals are used to create the final vaulted geometry.
Entire process is broken into 2 parts. Part A deals with the creation of base mesh using voronoi cells, which is covered in this video.. This is done entirely in grasshopper and results in a clean mesh topology. Part B of this process uses the base mesh and applies various kangaroo goals and restrictions to create the vaulted structure.
