In the lights of recent events, caused by a very upsetting interview done by a certain actor desperately trying to promote his new show that is already doomed to fail, I thought it‘d be nice to finally render this project. :) It‘s quite old as I made it during the covid hiatus, but somehow could never motivate myself to upload. I was so thrilled when Eileen came back as her death was so unnecessarily horrible, and I immediately vibed with the whole romance arc. Not only was it a nice mirror to Deancas, it was also a beautiful friends-to-lovers relationship that was never supposed to happen, but somehow did anyway because they trusted each other truly and utterly. It wasn‘t love at first sight or the great big love story of the century, but it was a bond meant to be unbreakable until the very end and that was touching and beautiful.
But they crushed it, and I am very angry that they did. They so effortlessly managed to include important representation into the show, built up a romance, didn’t show her for half of the season and then completely erased her again at the end. It was horrible and unfair and # EileenDeservedBetter!

I always liked the certain actor mentioned above, but what he said in that interview was so unbelievably stupid and far-fetched even I had to unfollow and mute. Dean didn‘t want Sam to end up with someone from “the life”? Fck off, Dean literally said IN THE SHOW, Sam should hold on to Eileen and their relationship because she understands the life. I even made room to include this scene in my video because what the hell?!
Dean always wanted for Sam to find someone he trusted, someone he could settle down with, even after all the stuff they had to live through in their time, and Eileen was that very someone. Dean never wanted him to marry a faceless woman that couldn't relate to him, have a kid named after him or for his brother to be haunted by his death for the rest of his life. Dean wanted him to be happy, and Sam could have had it all. But they made it aaaalll about the toxic codependency again because of course, it‘s Supernatural and the show has glorified this relationship from the start. I was an advocate for their brotherly bond, but the finale and everything after that kind of ruined it for me.

Man. Now I’m angry again. I thought I was done and over the finale, but reading Jared‘s words threw me right back. Just let me be, Supernatural!! Let me be, please!!!!

P.s. That guy really hast to stop thinking of Ruby as his wife. Comparing her to Eileen? Is so wrong on so many levels.
