Dan Klein teaches 'improvisation' at Stanford University where he is a Lecturer in the Graduate School of Business and the Department of Theater and Performance Studies. He also leads classes at the Hasso Plattner Institute for Design, including a new offering titled Game Design: Making Fun. His workshops are in demand at the Schools of Law, Medicine and Engineering, and he was recently named Teacher of the Year by the Stanford Students Association. Dan travels around the world delivering leadership communication programs with Stand & Deliver Consulting for organizations like Cisco, Blackrock, Roche, Nestle, Nasdaq OMX, eBay and LucasFilm. Over the past 25 years, Dan has worked with undergraduates, grad students, executives, teenagers, global leaders and eager toddlers. The creative process fascinates him, and he has dedicated his life to nurturing, supporting, revealing and accelerating it.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
