Beadshop LIVE: Split loom weaving with Emily Pt. 1

Join the amazing Emily Miller (Seed Bead Guru Extraordinaire) as she shares her in-depth knowledge of looming, pattern inspiration and more with this unique design, Log Cabin. This is the first of a two-part broadcast in which Emily demonstrates setting up and weaving a split loom necklace using the Ojibwa Loom.

In this broadcast Emily walks us through:
Creating your loomed pattern using 11/0 seed beads, including graphing it.
Selecting your seed beads, needles and thread for a loomed project.
Warping the Ojibwa loom for weaving and getting started.

In Part 2, coming February 8, Emily will demonstrate the various steps for removing your necklace from the loom, weaving in the warp, and joining the ends at the neck. At the end of Part 2, the completed project will be posted.
