To launch Ben Bailey Smith as West London Zone’s first ambassador, award-winning journalist and broadcaster Emily Maitlis speaks to Ben about becoming an ambassador, his experience growing up in west London and the challenges facing children and young people today. He also recounts some of his most embarrassing moments in stand up and reveals how he got into writing songs with Ricky Gervais!
This interview will be the first in a series called Our west London streamed by West London Zone to inform and bring recognition to the issues that affect children and young people in the local community.
