Trains in the 1980s - Stratford Depot & Ripple Lane - July 1988

This was a rare visit to Stratford depot where the request to be allowed to look round wasn't met by a firm "No", and sometimes some other words as well!

This was a Sunday afternoon and as you can see, the depot was very quiet. This is the only time I had the video camera with me, and I wish now I'd spent more time filming - anyway, I hope it gives a flavour of just how many locos could be seen in one go.
