We’re suiting up for Captain America: The First Avenger (2011) — the fifth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the one that introduces us to the legend himself, Steve Rogers, the man who would become Captain America! In this full movie reaction, the Cat Dads experience Chris Evans’ iconic debut as the scrawny kid from Brooklyn who never gives up — even when the odds are stacked against him.

This film takes us back to World War II, where we meet Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell), Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), and the brilliant Howard Stark (Dominic Cooper). Together, they help shape Steve’s transformation into the world’s first super soldier. And of course, we can’t forget Hugo Weaving as the menacing Red Skull, one of the MCU’s most memorable villains.

Key highlights include Steve’s incredible transformation, his first mission as Captain America, the Howling Commandos’ heroic moments, and the emotional finale that cements Cap’s place as the heart of the Avengers. “I can do this all day” — and we felt every second of it.
