Ranchu goldfish are often called the “King of Goldfish” — but how did they rise to this status?
In this video, we explore the history of egg-shaped goldfish, the journey of Ranchu from China to Japan, and how different Ranchu strains (Osaka, Association, Uno, and Chinese Ranchu) were developed.
We’ll also cover the challenges of keeping Ranchu, especially their common swim bladder problems, and I’ll share my own experience on how I treated and prevented this issue.
