Tenby || New Year's Eve 2023

We booked a fantastic apartment in the heart of Tenby for an extended weekend away to celebrate New Year's Eve/Day.

During the stay, we visited Saundersfoot to dine at the Kookaba (which we unfortunately didn't film), and tried kangaroo for the very first time. Despite visiting West Wales numerous times, we had never taken a tour around St Catherine's island, so decided we'd buy a ticket while we had some spare time. Later on, we then headed over to Dragon's Palace to have a sit-in meal at the Chinese restaurant, preparing for the night ahead!

We decided not to book anywhere specific for the evening of the 31st, instead opting to do an impromptu bar crawl around Tenby, stopping at The Twisted Shamrock, The Normandie, Five Arches, Three Mariners and finally arriving at The Lifeboat Tavern. We headed back to the apartment to pour ourselves some champagne, then watch the fireworks as the clock struck midnight. The Lifeboat Tavern were serving a BBQ outside, so we thought it would be rude not to head back over an buy some delicious hot dogs and burgers, before having a quick run to the sea and heading to bed!

On the last day, we decided to have a nice relaxing start to the New Year, enjoying some Fish and Chips from Fecci's, trying out luck at the arcade, watching some movies and then enjoying a Domino's before heading home the next day.
