New 2025 Pivot Trail Cat LT — Time to Send It!

Day 3 of the series and it’s time to push the limits — both mine and the bike’s. I’m taking the Pivot Trail Cat LT to the legendary Whinlatter Mountain Bike Trails in the Lake District National Park to see if this premium £10K trail weapon can outperform my regular £3K setup. The target? Beat my personal best time of 2:06 on this trail.

With dry, dusty, and increasingly sketchy conditions, the trails are loose and fast — perfect for a proper high-speed MTB test. I'm finally starting to connect with the Trail Cat LT, but it demands a completely different riding style. It’s lightweight, agile, and insanely capable — but does that translate into raw speed?
