New Jersey police were called to the scene after someone reported a possible hit-and-run accident. Police found a car that matched the description provided and noticed significant damage to it. Upon running the plates, they discovered the car belonged to Lianna Graniglia. Officers then arrived at Graniglia's apartment and questioned her about the incident, as well as requested her to perform field sobriety tests. After she performed the tests, officers believed she failed and took her into custody for DUI.
