Part#2 No Heat in the Hot Tub... Loose Connections...Look for the Clues

Sometimes its as simple as a loose wire or is it the connection that is sometimes the problem.Or did the installer just not pay close enough attention to what they were doing to see that the connection was not tight. Most of the problems that I see are caused by the person preforming a task that wasn't paying close enough attention to what they were doing or didn't have enough experience to know what to look for. Do I check all of the connections every time I open up a hat tub? The answer NO... I don't but I do pay really really close attention as to what is going on with and in the hot tub and the way things are hooked right from the start. If Im going on a service call and the hot tub is new and the homeowner just installed it and says it will not run...Im not going to look at the spa first Im going to go look at the way it was installed first (CLUES) If the home owner say that the hot tub is not working and he's owned it for 4 to 5 years and hasn't had any problems with it but breaker started tripping over the weekend Ill go open it up and take a look and find the problem. Most often it is easy to find the problem if you just listen/look for the clues that are given to you.

As alway do not stick your hands inside ANY Spa or Hot Tub until YOU yourself see and shut off the Breaker..I hope I made myself CLEAR.
