The footage for 12-3 represents a theoretical 3-star clear, meaning I combined footage from two separate runs of 12-3-1 and 12-3-2. Many of you have expressed concern about prioritizing my mental health. Given how challenging 12-3 is, I decided to settle for a spliced 3-star clear in this chamber to avoid burning myself out for future versions. Thank you for your understanding!

With the massive HP and RES inflation, I initially thought this would be the first version where it would be impossible to achieve a 9-star run (spliced or not). Fortunately, I didn’t give up, but I do need to rest before the next Spiral Abyss version, as HP and RES inflation is present there as well. My next school quarter will also be starting soon.

If you deal enough Poise damage to the Wayob during its startup animation, you can stagger it before it casts Trial Arena. Using a strong staggering ability—like detonating Baron Bunny or casting Kaeya's Burst—right as its wings lower can interrupt it. The exact Poise damage required is unclear, but ‪@TarZBlammo‬ estimated at least 210 Poise damage in Furu's Discord server. Managing all these factors can be overwhelming, so it's simpler to use a high Poise damage ability to stagger it in one hit rather than timing multiple instances precisely. Most bosses have large enough hitboxes that standing point-blank allows Pyronado to hit twice per revolution. This means even if Pyronado is on the far side of the character, it can still reach the boss. However, enemies like the Ruin Scout and Perpetual Mechanical Array have odd hitboxes that prevent this. To maintain two hits per revolution, I run counterclockwise as Pyronado makes contact, keeping its hitbox inside the enemy’s longer. Fighting the Emperor of Fire and Iron is tricky due to its many mechanics. At the start of the third wave, I hopped away to force Leaping Crush and put it on cooldown, preventing it from interrupting my setup later. Using Dendro on the horn’s Pyro shield triggers Burning. Since Lisa’s Burst applies Electro to the boss itself, the Burning aura can also apply Pyro to the boss, triggering Overload. Since this Overload isn’t from my characters, it staggers my active character. To avoid this, I either keep my distance or stop using certain abilities while the horn is up.
