Introduction to Arrays in Java

In Java programming language, arrays are objects which are dynamically created, and may be assigned to variables of type Object. It is a data structure where we store similar elements. We can store only a fixed set of elements in a Java array. All methods of class Object may be invoked on an array. There can be two types of arrays single dimensional & multi dimensional. Arrays in Java can be used to store multiple values in a single variable, instead of declaring separate variables for each value.
