ツアー・オブ・ジャパン 2023、3日目のいなべステージは阿下喜駅前をスタート、3.1kmのパレード区間を経て1周14.8kmのいなべ市梅林公園周回コースを8周する走行距離127.0kmのコース。
オープニングラップから集団を飛び出し大逃げを打ったカーター・ベトルス（ヴィクトワール広島）が127kmに及ぶ大会史上に残る劇的な大逃走劇でステージ初勝利。個⼈総合時間賞（グリーンジャージ）は再びルーク・ランパーティ（トリニティ・レーシング）が奪い返した。日本人トップは総合8位で岡篤志（JCL TEAM UKYO）。兒島直樹（チーム ブリヂストン サイクリング）が山岳賞ジャージを守った。

On the third day of the Tour of Japan 2023, the Inabe stage started in front of the Agaki Station, and after a 3.1km parade section, the riders completed eight laps around the 14.8km Inabe City Plum Grove Park Circuit, a course covering a distance of 127.0km.
Carter Bettles (Victoire Hiroshima), who broke away from the pack on the opening lap, won the stage for the first time in a dramatic escape that will go down in the history of the event, spanning 127km. Luke Lamperti (Trinity Racing) took the green jersey again. The top Japanese rider was Atsushi Oka (JCL TEAM UKYO) in 8th place overall. Naoki Kojima (Team Bridgestone Cycling) defended the mountains jersey.
