Sons of Anarchy" is set in the fictional California town of Charming. Faced with the relentless pressure from drug dealers and large-scale land developers, an outlaw motorcycle club with a reputation in both the criminal underworld and legitimate circles rises up to fight back—not only to protect themselves, but also to safeguard the peace of the town. The story's protagonist, Jax Teller (played by #charliehunnam ), is caught in a fierce internal conflict: on one hand, he deeply loves his brothers in the club; on the other hand, he hopes the club can completely break free from the shadow of "illegality." Other key characters include Jax's inherently authoritative mother and his stepfather, who serves as the club's president.
