In 2015 master surf filmmaker JACK McCOY won the inaugural FILM MAKERS RECOGNITION Award at the Bells Beach Surf Film Festival in Torquay, Australia. The award was created by the festival to recognise a lifetime of achievement by the world's top surf filmmakers.
This interview, filmed and edited by John Foss, features Jack talking about his surf film A DEEPER SHADE OF BLUE which won many awards around the world. In this interview Jack talks about the U.S premiere of A DEEPER SHADE OF BLUE in Hawaii and its deeper meaning.
