In this video SINGLE STOREY EXTENSION MDF FASCIA BOARDS, John is making the fascia boards from tricoya extreme MDF which is an 18mm waterproof MDF. Under the fascia board will be a tongue and groove matchboard cladding for soffit. Pete and Joe build a stud wall for the temporary kitchen. John is cutting MDF lengths to size and gives you some top tips for cutting MDF. He highlights the need for MDF dust extraction and uses his makita dust extractor for the job. Pete is priming soffit boards ready then for the dulux weather shield paint application. John gives you another top tip finishing MDF and uses zinsser b-i-n primer to edge seal MDF. John and Alex then move on to strip roof tiles and remove roof before some wall demolition to allow for construction of the new dormer.
