This will not affect your tune or trans tune in any way shape or form this specifically targets the head unit to allow Apple CarPlay full screen instead of the annoying split screen
At the end of the video, it shows a Short clip that shows what it looks like while it is programming Apple CarPlay and you can slightly see what the software looks like I forgot to take a proper video before actually installing it but it is 100% legit works effortlessly.
F15, F16, F25, F26, F20, F21, F30, F31, F32, F33, F34 and F36 chassis as well as Mini/G01/G30
Requirements
– iDrive 5.0 or iDrive 6.0
– Vehicle firmware must be N, O, P, Q, R, S, U, V, W, or X
Windows laptop or Mac running Bootcamp/VM software
How to check if your vehicle is compatible
Open the map interface of your vehicle, and hit OPTION or find settings on your iDrive system depending on its IDrive6 or 7 and scroll down to position and version. Check the letter after NBTevo_ and if it is N, O, P, Q, R, S, U, V, W, or X you can have fullscreen Apple CarPlay activated.
