Any excuse and Betsy starts pestering me to take her out on the back lanes. Not wanting to disappoint her, I state plotting to get the tent on the back. Camping, Cooking and The Royal Enfield Classic 350 What could be better!
A few back lanes later and we arrive at Knotlow Farm campsite just outside Flagg in Derbyshire. What a gem of a site it is, very nice and spotless facilities, well tendered camping fields, fantastic vies, friendly owner and piece and quiet, only the sound of sheep and birds punctuated the silence.
As darkness fell pork chops, chips and veg was the order of the day, all cooked on the Trangia.
A coffee sat looking at the stars topped off the day.
Even though it was only an impromptu one night away, it really was bliss.
Sit back, relax and let’s do some stargazing.
