Level 2 base reflectivity radar loop of Hurricane Katrina from the lowest tilt of the KAMX (Miami, Florida) site. The loop runs from 1200UTC on August 25, 2005 to 0900UTC on August 26th and shows the hurricane making landfall near Golden Beach and then moving southwest across Miami-Dade and Monroe counties. The color table highlights reflectivity values of 25 DBZ or greater.
