1936 Hal Kemp - Gloomy Sunday (Bob Allen, vocal)

A moderate song hit in 1936 but most famously recorded in 1941 by Billie Holliday with the Teddy Wilson band, this was billed as “The Famous Hungarian Suicide Song” (see Wikipedia’s “Gloomy Sunday” page for an explanation).
