Metaphor ReFantazio is Atlus's long awaited project that was initially teased back in 2016. The newly established Studio Zero would attempt to establish a new pillar series to stand alongside Shin Megami Tensei and Persona. Before the official reveal, very little information was given other than that the game would be a "return to fantasy." Something very common, but the heads at Studio Zero had no experience in developing. In this video, I will explore how thoroughly and realistically Metaphor explores fantasy. Not just as a genre, but as a general concept too.
