Here we are guys with part two!
In this second installment, we take the steel parts to our friends at Kings Industry to powder coat the frame, fork, bars and cranks with a Translucent Candy Gold - allowing the chrome to shine through the finish.
Let us know in the comments below if we missed anything, if you have any questions, or just let us know what you think!

The wheels are built in-house by Adam with Alienation rims, custom-cut gold spokes, Salt alloy nipples and Profile Racing Mini hubs.
Now everything is back from the finishers, Adam is ready to assemble the bike.
As you know, here at Alans BMX, we are all about the Custom. However, when a customer came to us wanting to create a modern all-gold Hutch Trick Star, inspired by Factory Hutch rider, Woody Itson's 24k bike from 1985, it took customisation to a whole other level.
Alans BMX is based in Wigan, in the north-west of England. Founded in 1981 and still run by Alan Woods, former UKBMX National Champion and inaugural British BMX Hall of Fame Inductee (Pioneer Racer). Despite the current state of the industry, we are as stoked on BMX as we've always been and everyone here works damned hard towards our goal to help grow BMX. We cover all aspects of BMX from old school to new school and everything in between, including racing, flatland, park, street and Bikelife.
2026 will be our 45 year anniversary and we have some special stuff planned, including events and some very special limited edition colabs with our favourite brands.
We ship Worldwide. You can contact us at AlansBMX.com.
