QIDI 580 SR22 RTF RC Airplane
In this video I will go over the QIDI 580 ready to fly (RTF) radio control (RC) model airplane.
The QIDI 580 RTF RC airplane comes complete. All you will need to add is four AA batteries for the transmitter. The airplane, electronics, in flight lipo batteries are all included.
The QIDI 580 is essentially ready to fly out of the box. You just have to connect the aileron servo and the wing lights to the receiver motherboard in the fuselage, attach the wing, insert the landing gear and you are ready to fly.
The QIDI 580 is modeled on the popular Cirrus SR22 full scale general aviation airplane.
The plane has plenty of power from its brushless motor and takes off in an instant. The gyros do a good job of stabilizing the flight of this small RC airplane. I recommend the mid setting of the gyro switch for optimum control of the RC model. I would say this is an intermediate model, no well suited for the trainer or first time RC pilot.
I did encounter a bit of adverse yaw when flying. Luckily the addition of rudder for a coordinated turn overcame the adverse yaw.
