In this video, I take a look at the three planned towers that were given planning permission by Manchester City Council on Thursday the 10th of April, 2025, namely: Viadux 2 to be branded as Nobu Manchester, Whitworth Street West, a residential tower opposite Deansgate Locks and another student residence by Vita Student to be built in the First Street district.

I also include some 'Then and Now' shots using old photos from the Manchester Libraries collection. As usual with some comment and random thoughts as well as mentions for other projects in Manchester as well as London and Leeds.
I have arranged the information into 31 facts, which I have carefully checked. The first 'fact' was based on media reports about 153 floors being approved by Manchester City Council!
