In the heart of Lake Uddiyana
A lotus bloomed in silence
Not born of blood or lineage
He came for awakening

The wind asked not where he came from
The clouds asked not where he would go
He only saw
Living beings trembling in fear

The mountains were cold, the nights were long
The human heart more desolate than darkness
He said, “Demons are not outside—
They live within the mind.”

He did not conquer anyone
He taught us how to let go
With a single turning of the heart
Light finds its way home

Padmasambhava
You rose from the lotus
Entering the most chaotic places
Leaving wisdom behind

When I lose my sense of direction
When fear still grips my heart
Softly chanting your name
The mind grows quiet again

He said pain is not punishment
It is the doorway to awakening
He said this life does not require waiting—
The journey begins now

The Dharma is hidden in the mountains
And hidden in a single sentence
Waiting for those with karmic ties
To mature on their own

Padmasambhava
You are not beyond the sky
You are present in every
Moment willing to awaken

When I walk the dusty world
Battered by wind and rain
You remind me—
The lotus is never stained by mud

HUM—
Awareness is already here
Unborn, undying
One step back to the heart
And this moment becomes the Buddha realm

Padmasambhava
Please bear witness
That even amid afflictions
I will guard clarity

No matter how chaotic the world becomes
My heart will not retreat
The lotus blooms within fire
Still pure

Not a god
Not a legend
You came only to tell me—
I was pure from the very beginning.
