Kural Exclusive | Carnatic Music Education in Current Times | ft. Vid. Palghat R Ramprasad

The aim of Kural Exclusive is to address and bring to light specific areas of Carnatic Music that are less discussed. The first episode of Kural Exclusive deals with the topic, “Carnatic Music Education in Current Times”.

Palghat Sri Ramprasad is the grandson of Vid. Palghat Mani Iyer. Belonging to such a majestic Parampara, he has been exposed to Carnatic Music from a very young age. Besides performing concerts, he also teaches Carnatic music, and believes that Carnatic Music demands discipline and rigorous training.

Kural is a monthly e-magazine which aims at bringing together a community of thinking musicians, whose voices will contribute to understanding and learning more about South Indian Classical Music and spreading it to a wider audience.
