Crazy Weather, So It's A Tour "Around" The Lake!!!

I'm really interested in anyone's feedback of whether I should have sailed today or not. It was blowing 15-20 mph with 35 mph gusts, expected to blow 25mph to 45mph at some time in the afternoon. As a novice sailor just looking for opinions on whether i'm a chicken or clever for not sailing today?

Anyway...

...It's an early start, the drive to Bala is about 1h 40m for me, so about this time of year (October) the mornings are dark!! Hope you enjoy a snapshot of my drive that takes me from the busy Motorways of the North West into the lazy lanes of Wales.

When we arrive the weather is just crazy and the water is quite high in the lake. The jetty's are submerged and it's just not possible to get Mochyn Du safely in the water, let alone paddle out the Lulu in these winds.

I think i'm quite proud of myself for not sailing today. Experience and my gut tells me to stay safe and find something else to do, so with that in mind we take Mabel my trusty T4 Campervan and take a tour "Around" the lake. We've never done this before so hope you enjoy the Leftfield video!
