A Night in the Life of the VLT Time-lapse

This video shows a night of observation at ESO's Very Large Telescope, from the opening and during actual observations. Because the VLT instruments are very sensitive and for safety reasons, no human presence is allowed by night at the telescopes, and it is normally not possible to see what the telescopes actual do. This is the first time that the interior of a Unit Telescope is shown alive to the public by night, thanks to a camera remotely controlled in the interior of UT4, Yepun. Enjoy!
