Avocado dyeing diy tutorial: How to avocado tie dye. I show you how to tie dye with avocado stones and skins. You can collect avocado seeds and skins (either keep them in your freezer or ask local restaurant for their avocado food scraps). Avocados have natural tannins so you don't need to use a mordant if you don't want to. I added salt and baking soda to the dye bath- but they aren't mordants.
