In this video, we see a set of R62A-type cars rescuing the Gel Train, towing it back to East 180th St shop. The Gel Train, which deposits sandite on the rails to improve rail adhesion during the fall leaf season, had an issue overnight. Thanks to the quick thinking of local supervision, the train was kept out of the way, ensuring that it didn't disrupt regularly-scheduled passenger service! Then, when logistics were arranged, the train was towed back to the shop later in the evening. Enjoy!
