AMERICAN AIRLINES - Interesting Journey | AA5020 Toronto - Charlotte | Economy Class | Flight Review

Welcome! Thank you for joining me on this American Airlines flight to Charlotte, North Carolina. Eighth of fifteen flights on this Europe and North American 2023/2024 adventure. We journey back to the United States of America where begin the USA leg in earnest starting in Atlanta, Georgia. Will be my first time riding American Airlines and being in Georgia!

This is a transit flight to Atlanta via Charlotte. The 2024 winter weather in America has been apparently crazy and it's wrecked havoc on flights. Unfortunately mine was a casualty of the crazy weather and my flight was delayed quite a bit, arriving in Atlanta at 9:30pm as the original arrival at 7:45pm.

As you know, there is a plethora of options to get to Atlanta, most of them expensive... so why American Airlines? I need points on my Oneworld and because I was a Sapphire status on Oneworld, which meant perks. This was my first flight on American Airlines. As most North American airlines, I've heard stories about AA and the inconsistent service they have. Additionally, this was just a North American flight, so I wasn't expecting spectacular and innovative services. It was an overall meh and somewhat interesting flight, being in a smaller plane. In addition, the cabin was also dirty and old. Probably going to see if the other American carriers are better and decide whether or not American Airlines will be my airline of choice in this part of the world.
