The Low-ish Floor Running Day, but something is different...

As you may know or have figured out, I always build my compilations in chronological order. However, some people do it differently. If you can figure out what kind of order I have structured this video in, let me know in the comments!

Anyway, I might as well copy and paste the description of the original, as this is basically an LFRD observation video.

Here are all the bus observation videos I filmed at the Low-ish Floor Running Day, on Sunday 14th July 2024. Mostly preserved, low-floor, rear-engined buses dating from 1979 to 2011 ran on two routes between Godstone and East Grinstead via Lingfield in Surrey.

34 buses attended this year, although 4 are not seen in this video:

Go-Coach provided two ex-London buses that are not preserved, including Enviro400 Trident 9001 (SK07 DZA), and Optare Tempo 7802 (YJ11 EHR), driven by AndMoreCentral, who came all the way from Yorkshire!

Another very special visitor to this event was preserved Dublin Bus Volvo B6BLE Wright Crusader WV52 (01-D-10052), which came from Ireland, even further away! It was going to be joined by Irish Volvo Olympian RV620, but that couldn't make it.

Another highlight was that I was able to catch all three Metrobus Volvo B9TL Wright Eclipse Gemini 2s on the 400, namely 6906 (BJ63 UJO), recently refurbished 6908 (BJ63 UJP) and 6911 (BJ63 UJT) in its iconic livery. That many B9TLs on the 400 is quite rare!

This was my first time attending this this event, which I have been looking forward to all year. I must say, it was an excellent day out with great buses, pretty much all of them getting up to high speeds on the main roads!

And don't panic! The Low-ish Floor Running Day will return on Sunday 13th July 2025.
